Ingredients

250 ml (1 cup) Arctic Gardens super sweet corn

10 ml (2 tsp) canola oil

5 ml (1 tsp) Maple syrup

15 ml (1 tbsp) nutritional yeast

1.25 ml (1/4 tsp) garlic powder

1.25 ml (1/4 tsp) onion powder

1.25 ml (1/4 tsp) Cajun spices

Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the corn, oil and maple syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
  2. Spread the corn in the air fryer basket. Cook at 160°C (325°F) for 15 minutes (or until corn is nicely browned), stirring halfway through cooking. Corn kernels should be scattered in a single layer. Depending on the size of your basket, you may need to cook in 2 stages.
  3. Spread the corn on a plate covered with absorbent paper. Let cool completely.
  4. Corn should be eaten immediately to maintain its crispy appearance. However, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but it will lose its crunchy texture. Serve in a salad or enjoy as is as a snack.
