Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

  • 60g vegetable oil
  • salt and ground pepper
  • ½ bag (375g) Arctic Gardens Asian-Style Stir-Fry Mix
  • 5ml chopped fresh ginger
  • 5ml peanut butter (optional)
  • juice of half a lime
  • 4 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 10ml hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 5ml Sambal Oelek sauce (hot pepper paste)
  • 10 leaves fresh basil, minced


  1. Heat half of oil in a wok over high heat and sauté chicken. Season.
  2. Add 5 ml (1 tsp.) of hoisin sauce and set aside.
  3. Heat remaining oil in another wok over high heat and sauté vegetable mix with garlic, ginger, and Sambal Oelek. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add remaining hoisin sauce, peanut butter, basil, and lime juice.
  5. Serve over long grain rice, add chicken, and garnish with fresh basil.
