Chicken burger with spinach
575 g ground chicken
1/3 cup (80 ml) plain breadcrumbs or panko
Salt and freshly ground pepper
4 hamburger buns
4 lettuce leaves
1-2 tomatoes, sliced
Preheat the barbecue to medium-high or the oven to 450 oF (230 oC).
Place 4 spinach dip nuggets in a microwavable bowl and defrost for 2 minutes. Let cool.
In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken with the egg and breadcrumbs. Season generously and add the preparation to the cooled spinach dip.
Make 4 patties and cook on the grill or in the oven on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 10 to 12 minutes.
In the meantime, heat the 6 spinach dip nuggets according to package instructions.
Toast the buns and garnish with spinach dip, chicken burger, lettuce, and tomatoes. Enjoy.
