Chicken Breast Stuffed with Ham, Asparagus and Swiss Cheese
4 chicken breasts
4 slices of ham
4 slices of Swiss cheese
½ tsp (2 ml) Italian spices or herbes de Provence
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1- Preheat the oven to 425o F (210o C).
2- Cut the chicken breasts in half width-wise. Place onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and open them like a book.
3- Place a slice of the ham onto the smaller piece of each chicken breast.
4- Cover with asparagus and finish with the cheese. Tightly close the chicken breast.
5- Sprinkle with the herbs, season and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked. Serve.
